Gyűrűnek indult... / Was designed to be a ring...

Azt hittem, hogy egy peyote kerettel tökéletes gyűrű lesz ebből a tanzanit téglából. De mégsem...
Tudtam, hogy óriás lesz, ami tetszene is, viszont akármilyen szögből nézegettem az újjam körül, csak elkedvetlenített :(
Lebontani viszont sajnáltam, s még jó, mert néhány nap elteltével ez a medálka alakult ki belőle :) Nagyon örülök, hogy hezitáltam a sorsa felett, mert így lett egy újabb kedvencem :) Imádom :)

I thought this Tanzanite brick with a peyote frame would become a perfect ring. However, it didn't :(
Well, I knew it would be a giant one which I would love to have. But no matter which direction I was observing it around my finger it made me disappointed :(
I was unwilling to take it apart, though. And that was luck. A couple of days later it turned into this pendant somehow . I'm so glad that I was hesitating about its destiny as I have a new favourite now :) I just love it :)

Rendelésre készültek a Bellatrix nyakékhez :) A gyűrűt saját kedvencem mintájára, a karit pedig Dia csodás porcelánvirágai alapján kérték. Szerintem tökéletesen összeillenek :)

Made to special request to complete the Bellatrix necklace :) My favourite ring was picked along with Dia's superb bracelet style - the porcelain flower. I think they are a perfect match :)

Először tartottam attól, hogy fekete csisziből álljon a kari alapja, merthogy túlságosan sötétnek hittem. Ezért rendeltem tanzanit AB csisziket, csakhogy nem figyeltem arra, hogy csupán világos van készleten az üzletben - megérkezett, mégis megfűztem belőlük az alapot, rá egy-két virágot, de nem tetszett :(
Futottam még egy kört, rendeltem más forrásból sötétebbeket, de mire megérkezett, valahogy ametisztté alakult a tanzanit :( Sebaj, abból is megfűztem az alapot, viszont az sem tetszett :(
Nem adtam fel, gondoltam, legyen akkor fekete! S ő lett a nyerő! Nekem nagyon tetszik, s remélem a gazdájának is fog :)

At first, I was quite afraid of using black facettes for the base because I thought that it would be far too dark. So I ordered tanzanite AB facettes and only when they arrived had I realised that I wasn't careful enough and didn't notice that there was only light ones on stock. Even so I made the base and a couple of flowers but I didn't like it :(
I had another go and ordered darker facettes from another source, but by the time they arrived the colour of tanzanite had turned into amethyst :( Never mind, I thought, and beaded the new base. I didn't like this one either :(
However, I still didn't give up and that's when I gave the black facettes a try. Well, they were the winning beads and you can see the result :) I love it and hope that the real owner will love it too :)

S együtt csak napon lehetett róluk elfogadható fotót készíteni, viszont nagyon jól visszaadják a valós színeket :)
Annyira beléjük szerettem, hogy legszívesebben megtartanám őket :)

It was really challenging to take satisfying photos of them together. I could manage it only in the sun, and surprisingly, the colours are the closest to the real ones :)
I'm so pleased with them that I would love to keep both :)

I was rather surprised when I found a little package in my letter-box posted by Panka on Thursday morning :) She beaded me these fantastic presents to thank my little help with some English translation between her and Mu.

'Meglátni és megszeretni' volt számomra Kashaya napocskás mintája :) Ezért nem is engedtem szabadjára a fantáziámat, követtem a mintát ahogyan az eredetileg meg van tervezve :)
Nem mondom, hogy könnyű, se nem azt, hogy gyors munka volt, főleg mert majdnem duplán készítettem el - már kétharmadával kész voltam, amikor lebontásra ítéltem első verziómat, mivel egy-két helyen pontatlanul fűztem, s az eltérések zavarták a szemem :)

It was 'Love at first sight' :) Thanks Kashaya for this lovely pattern! I did not want to change it at all, so I just followed the pattern as it was designed originally :)
I wouldn't say that it was easy to bead, neither that it was quick, mainly because I almost made it twice. I had completed two-third of the bracelet when I decided to take it apart - I was careless at some points and the differences disturbed my eyes :)
