PIF ajándékom Svirotól :)

Néhány héttel ezelőtt nagy meglepetésre értem haza párizsi utamról. Az asztalon egy kis pufis boríték várakozott kibontásra, mely Ildikó PIF ajándékát rejtegette számomra :)
Ildikó!!! Telitalálat volt! Annyira tökéletesen eltaláltad az ízlésemet, a stílusomat, a vágyamat, s azt is, hogy milyen színű ékszer hiányzik még a kincsesládámból... :)
Nagyon-nagyon köszönöm Neked ezt a csodás láncikát :)

A few weeks ago a big surprise was waiting for me to arrive home from Paris where I had spent a couple of days. So there was a fatty envelop on my desk which contained Ildiko's PIF present for me-me-me :)
Ildikó!!! You perfectly figured out my taste, my style, my wish and even my need - the colour I had not had in my treasure chest :)
Tons of thanks for this marvellous necklace :)

Let it Shine

Aliz és Anikó segítségével született meg az én Let it Shine-om. Köszönöm, és természetesen sok-sok köszönet a minta alkotójának, Sabine Lippert-nek is :)
Szerintem nagyszerű volt fűzni és rendkívül haladósnak is éreztem. A végeredmény pedig fantasztikus. S mint mindig, sokat hezitáltam, hogy milyen legyen hozzá a lánc, de végül ennél az egyszerűbbnél maradtam.

My Let it Shine has come into existence with the help of Aliz and Anikó. Thank you both and, obviously, tons of thanks to Sabine Lippert for this great pattern, as well :)
I think it was fantastic to bead this pendant and I also found it really 'fast-moving'. Not to mention the result which is even more marvellous.
As usual, I hesitated a lot over the necklace, but finally, I decided to choose something simple.

Annyira megszerettem, hogy hamarosan hozzálátok egy másik színkombinációhoz. És az is az enyém lesz :)

I love it so-so much that I'll soon start a new colour-combination. And that will be mine, as well :)

Nyaralási fűzőcske / Holiday beading :)

Gyorsan elrepült a nyár, számomra sajna szinte teljes mértékben fűzés nélkül :( S mivel nagyon hiányzott az alkotás, gyöngyökkel bőven felszerelkezve indultunk nyaralni. Ezúttal nagyon szervezett voltam, s jó előre összeállítottam egy meglehetősen hosszú listáját azon dolgoknak, amiket már réges rég szerettem volna elkészíteni, így jól átgondolva toboroztam össze útitársaimat. Persze azt is  tudtam, hogy csak töredékéhez fogok tudni hozzálátni a majd két hét pihenés alatt. Most ez a töredék látható a képen :) Még ugyan mindannyian befejezetlen állapotban vannak, hisz nem döntöttem a láncokkal kapcsolatban, ezért a damil lógicál még belőlük :)

S hogy merre jártunk? Részben a szokásos horvátországi utat jártuk be, ami Mostar & Kastel Stafilic (Trogir), illetve az utolsó pár napban az Istrián pihengettünk, hogy végre azt is megismerjük :) Nagyszerű volt :)

The summer has gone by so-so quickly and, unfortunately I did not really have the chance to bead :( Since I really missed creating something, I packed tons of beads for our holiday :) I must say I was well-organised this time because I had made a list of 'my wishes to bead' which helped me a lot what beads to take with me. I obviously had the feeling that I included much-much more items than I could have completed during the two weeks we had. So in the picture you can see the ones which I finally picked from my list. However, they are still uncompleted as I have not decided what types of necklaces they will get so you can even see the line coming out of them :)

And where have we been travelling? We mainly stayed at the usual places in Croatia, in Mostar and Kastel Stafilic (next to Trogir),  and we spent a couple of days in Istria to discover that part of the country, as well. It was fabulous :)

Tavasszal romantikáztam ezen a karin, de valami oknál fogva - szerintem csak időhiány miatt - még nem tettem fel a blogra. Valójában nem tudom megmondani, milyen színű a cseh csiszolt, de igen szépen csillog kifelé a 15/0-ás kásák hálójából :)

I spent some romantique moments on this bracelet this spring, however, for some reason - I guess it was the lack of time - I haven't posted it yet. To be honest, I cannot say what colour the Czech facetted beads are but it is lovely how they are glittering out of the net made from 15/0 seed beads.

Alíz gyűrűje teljesen elvarázsolt, mikor márciusban találkoztunk. Azon nyomban hozzá is kezdtem, de szokásomhoz híven bontottam és újrafűztem, mielőtt elnyerte végleges formáját :) Imádom :)

Alíz's ring made me amazed when we met in March. I immediately got down to make an own one but, as usual, I had had to take it apart and re-bead it several times before it gained its definite shape :) I love it :)

S az Indiám is láncot kapott :) Azt hittem, jóval később kerül majd erre sor, de így legalább egész szezonban viselhető lesz :)

And even my India got its necklace :) I thought I would complete it much later but at least it can be worn in the whole summer season :)

Berlin, Meißen, Dresden...

Berlin Cathedral

Meghosszabbítottuk a pünkösdi hétvégét és egy bő hetet töltöttünk Németországban. Utazásunk fő oka valójában párom Drezdában rendezett kiállítása volt, melyre a Galerie KUKO meghívásából került sor.
Mind a megnyitó, mind az utunk nagyon jól sikerült, s igen kellemes elő-nyaralásban volt részünk :)
Hellyel-közzel még a németet is gyakoroltam, de persze az angolban sokkal magabiztosabbnak érzem magam :)

We extended the weekend of Pentecost and spent a lovely long week in Germany. The main reason for our trip was actually an art exhibition of my partner's paintings in Dresden where he was invited by the Galerie KUKO.
Both the Opening ceremony and our trip were a great success and we had a very pleasant pre-holiday :)

Ocassionally I tried to use my German, as well, but, obviously, I felt myself a lot more confident in English :)

Színes utazásunk alatt fejeztem be Ande csodás Indiájának fűzését.

Rég gondolataimban volt már ennek a türkizes kéknek és az olívás zöldnek az összepárosítása, s lám most végre sikerült :) Viszont még kissé hiányos, hisz a lánc hiányzik. Szerintem valami spirálszerűt fogok hozzá készíteni - majd egyszer :)
Valójában ez nem az első India amit fűztem, s ezért emlékeztem, hogy a damiltól nagyon merev, a cérnától pedig nagyon lágy a tartása. Ezért most úgy döntöttem, hogy cérnával kezdem, s aztán - kicsit lazábban - végigmentem rajta damillal is. Így olyan szépen kisimult, szabályos és határozott tartású lett, hogy ha vállalkozok még egyre, akkor azt is hasonlóan duplán fűzöm majd :)
 

During our colourful holiday I finished beading Ande's marvellous India pendant. I'd had the idea of mixing this turquoise-blue and olive in my mind for a long time and I think it worked out successfully :) However, it has not been finished yet - I'm planning to bead a kind of spiral necklace to complete it - some time :)

Actually it is not the first India I have made and therefore I remembered that the fishing-line makes it too tight but the thread does not give it enough poise. So I decided to start with thread and then I re-beaded it again using fishing-line but loosely. I'm very-very pleased with the result - it became such a smooth, even and stark pendant! So if I decide to bead another one in the future I will do the same - double-beading :)

Decemberben kezdtem... / Started in December...

Vagyis kellett hozzá majd egy fél év, hogy befejezzem legújabb, saját tervezésű virágom :)
Úgy emlékszem, eredeti szándékom szerint csak próbálgattam megtalálni a megfelelő színeket ehhez a különleges rivolihoz (fuchsia starlight), s egyszer csak ide vezettek a delicák :)
Megtetszett :)
Ezért elkezdtem díszítgetni 15/0-ás kásákkal, s mégjobban megtetszett :)
Az időt inkább a lustaságom emésztette fel :) A téli hónapokban szinte minden nap megfordult a virág a kezemben, azt is elhatároztam, hogy a St. Petersburg lánccal fogom kiegészíteni, de nagyon lassan haladtam vele. Csak ma sikerült befejeznem :)  
 

So it took almost a half year to complete this latest flower of my own design :)

If I remember well, I only meant to find the right colour which would have matched this unique rivoli (fuchsia starlight), however, the delicas led me to this lovely flower. 

I liked it very much :) 

Therefore I started to ornate it with 15/0 seed beads and I liked it even more :)

It was my laziness that consumed the time. Although I picked the flower up every single day in the winter months and I could also decide on the type of the necklace - I thought the St. Petersburg would be the best choice, I got on with it very slowly. So I only finished it today :)

 

Ajándékok / Presents

 

Két nagyon kedves barátnőmet leptem meg ezekkel a medálkákkal. A Noria-ról borzasztó nehéz volt használható fotókat készíteni különleges színe miatt...

I surprised two of my great friends with these pendants. Because of its unique colours it was so difficult to take pics of Noria successfully...

Ami a Flora-t illeti, meglehetősen kifogott rajtam. Csak harmadszori nekifutásra sikerült összehozni :) Talán az volt a bibi, hogy damillal próbálkoztam az első körökben, s csak mielőtt végleg feladtam volna váltottam cérnára. Szerencsére sikeresen :)

As for Flora it seemed to be a great challenge for me since only for the third try could I succeed in completing it properly :) The fishing-line which I used for a start might have been the problem, and luckily, before I gave this project up for good I changed the line for S-lon thread :)

Ismételt köszönet Simone-nak a csodás mintáiért és Editnek, illetve Marikának a közreműködésükért :)

I would love to say a big thank Simone again for these lovely patterns. And also thanks for Edit and Marika's help :)

Miután befejeztem döbbentem rá, hogy a választott jet hematit rivolinak mindkét oldala hasznosítható, s így valójában egy kétoldalas medál lett belőle :) Legalábbis szerintem mindkét oldal nagyon szép lett :)

When I completed it I also realised that the jet hematit rivoli has two usable sides and so it actually became a double sided pendant :) At least I think both sides are nice to wear :)
